He's council chief of a long standing men's group, has participated in many sweat lodges and uses the medicine wheel daily. He holds a BA in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. His form of Shamanic Pastoral counseling focuses on body centered, earth-based self-realization. Jimi Merk is the owner and natural healer with Shine Your Light In Mainstrasse. Jimi is also the Owner and designer for Jimi Designs Custom Jewelry. Jimi has a five year degree in the Science of Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnatis' DAAP program. As a healer he has attained a Reiki level II, and a first level mastery in Yoga, Shamanistic healing, and Pranayama breathing techniques. Jimi is a special needs instructer for Cincinnati Public Schools where he teaches all of the high school emossionally disturbed. Jimi also has a real estate License in Ohio.
